Milagro heart and angels

Description

Characteristic of Mexican religious art, these ex-votos (also called milagros) are used either independently or as decoration of more elaborate pieces to make a wish or to thank for a wish fulfilled.

They are made of zamac metal (mixture of zinc, aluminum, magnesium and copper) melted and poured into a hand-made mold.

Very widespread in Mexico and Latin America, it is very difficult to find artisan manufacturers who jealously preserve their methods and are located in remote areas of Mexico.

Natural color is the original color of the Mexican votive offering tradition, which has since evolved into the richly colored designs we are also familiar with.

Thanks to artisanal work, each piece is unique and different
