From the 11th century to the present day, in 8 playful comic strips, the illustrator Citlali Souloumiac, a young Franco-Mexican artist, tells the story of the ex-voto heart, this very particular object charged with the spirituality of the person who shapes it with his hands and his heart.

An ex-voto, above all, is a bit of the soul of its maker that we bring into our home. When there is no artisan, there is no more soul.
